My winter feeling is here. It’s been snowing for a few days now. The outside world is pretty.

I got some delightful mail two days ago. My dear friend sent me the cutest Advent calendar. Now I can start getting excited about Christmas too. This is how my calendar looks on December 3rd.

4 hours 39 minutes

I see sunlight. It’s the first day of December and the length of this day in Oulu is 4 hours 39 minutes. The sun barely climbs above the horizon but today’s cloudless sky allows some sunbeams to show themselves. It’s hardly midday but in three hours it’ll be complete darkness again. I wish for snow to lighten up these days.

I’m expecting an exciting month. Now I need some yarn and lunch. Have a bright day :)

P.S. 10 minutes later and I lost the sun. So much for that cloudlesness. Looking forward to the time after the winter solstice.
